A Question About Ebooks

Would you all prefer individual chapters as ebooks or all chapters of a story as one ebook? If you want the latter, I can add a table of contents so you can jump to whatever chapter you wish to read and update the link so you can download the newest version of the story. Please let me know, one way or the other.

  1. Fur says:

Personally I want the ebook as a book not individual chapters. It’s the whole point of having them in book form.

  2. Joker says:

I like the serialized stories myself. I just don’t like waiting for the next chapter…

  3. Sarah-Sophie says:

Iยดd like a real book Ebo! With the table of contents to jump to chapters. And I agree with Fur that is the whole point of having them in ebook form!

  4. Jen and Susy says:

    Hi Ebo,
We are probably going along with the majority, advocating downloading the book “as one” and adding any new chapters when available — by downloading the entire book again??? Certainly, “as one,” will reduce considerably, the amount of “fiddling”. E.g. separately, Black Lace would have (to date) 28 downloads. assuming we understand the option correctly. It would certainly reduce MY amount of “fiddling” – Susy doesn’t really understand, “fiddling” with these things. She is very good though, at “fiddling” with her Feeldoe. I don’t mind how many times she downloads that, in fact, I encourage her.
Well, we hope that’s helpful. Looking forward to your next instalment of anything. J&S x
It was nice to be consulted.

It doesn’t make much difference to me. However, concentrating the chapters into a single download makes the most sense. If they were separated and I downloaded them to my reader, they’d clutter up the menu.

Call me old-fashioned but I would like completed ebooks…But that’s just my opinion no need to go spreading it around or anything…lol.

  7. Jan says:

Hi, is it possible to read your books using Kindle paperwhite?

    • ebo says:

Um, no. I don’t think Kindle supports the .epub format. Kindle uses their own format and doesn’t accept other types of ebooks on their devices. I’m pretty sure this is a marketing ploy to get you to buy books from their store, but I could be wrong. I could probably convert them to a Kindle friendly format, if you or anyone is interested. It would be on a case by case basis, unless there is enough interest to warrant both styles, .epub and .azw(the Kindle format). Or if you prefer, you could convert them yourselves. Here is the link to download the software I use to make my ebooks: http://calibre-ebook.com/

  8. Fur says:

Yes it’s marketing like Ebo said. You can easily convert books using the program Ebo gave as I’ve used to convert all the ebooks I own that can be. Open books like what Ebo does can be converted into any ebook format you like using software like “Calibre” (the best on the market for free).

  9. Jan says:

Hi again, thank you for answering ๐Ÿ™‚ I`m gonna look into it and see if it`s possible ๐Ÿ™‚
Btw your stories are great, love the way your mind works ๐Ÿ˜‰

  10. Woody says:

Prefer full ebooks but would like to be able to download from somewhere that doesn’t require a log-in. Don’t like to spread my contact info out so much.

  11. Nathan Riches says:

Definitely full books would be better, with the obligatory ToC.
