White Stockings, Part Four

Jaime rolled over and turned her alarm off. It was still fifteen minutes before it was set to go off, but she has already been awake for twenty minutes. Knowing she wasn’t going to get back to sleep, she had decided just to get up.

Sitting on the side of the bed, she glanced at Eliza. The girl’s big beautiful brown eyes were open, and she smiled at Jaime. She watched as the girl sat up, the covers falling from her naked body. Sitting there, Eliza looked so warm and inviting, a temptation.

“Did I wake you?” Jaime asked.

“You’ve been tossing and turning,” Eliza said, moving behind Jaime. She wrapped her arms and legs around Jaime, resting her chin on Jaime’s shoulder.

“Sorry,” Jaime said.

“It’s okay,” Eliza said, squeezing her, “you are worried about Jenny coming to town.”

“She didn’t seem thrilled about us living together,” Jaime said, which was a huge understatement. They had had a heated discussion about Eliza over the phone. Jenny didn’t think she was getting her point across, so she was flying in to make it in person.

“I still can’t believe you told her,” Eliza said, sounding amused rather than upset.

“I was telling her about all the good things in my life of late,” Jaime said, shaking her head at the memory, “it just sort of slipped out.”

“Mm,” Eliza said, kissing Jaime’s neck, “so you were just bragging about your hot girlfriend?”

Laughing, Jaime said, “Something like that.”

“What time do you have to pick her up?” Eliza asked.

“Nine-thirty,” Jaime said.

Looking past her at the alarm clock, Eliza asked, “Why did you set the alarm for so early?”

Jaime leaned back into the girl, said, “Wishful thinking, mostly.”

“Ah,” Eliza said, laughing, “and just what were you wishing for?”

“You and a shower,” Jaime said, then grinned as she added, “I wouldn’t even mind combining the two.”

Eliza slid around until she was sitting on Jaime’s lap. She leaned in and kissed Jaime deeply, before saying, “Wish granted.”

Jaime could feel Eliza’s desire behind the kiss, and her own excitement grew in spades. The girl could get her going with just a look or a single kiss. When it came to Eliza, she was like a horny teenager, couldn’t get enough. It was more than that though. Something about them just… clicked. Jaime couldn’t remember ever feeling like this about anyone else.

She loved the girl with all of her heart.

Speaking of her heart, it started beating like crazy in her breast as Eliza rolled her hips forward, rubbing their bodies together deliciously. Jaime moaned into Eliza’s kiss as the pressure on her bud sent little waves of pleasure crashing through her.

Jaime got her hands under the girl’s backside, standing up. Turning, she dumped the giggling girl onto the bed. Eliza smiled up at her as Jaime crawled onto the bed with her. Leaning in, Jaime gave the girl a deep, lingering kiss, before moving between the girl’s legs. As their bodies nested together, Eliza wrapped her long legs around Jaime’s waist. Smiling down at Eliza, Jaime pushed her hips forward, grinding against the girl. Eliza’s eyes flashed with excitement as their bodies came together and a soft moan escaped her parted lips.

Eliza’s lips looked so inviting, and Jaime had to kiss her. The girl kissed her back heatedly, her hand slipping into Jaime’s hair on the back of her head. Eliza didn’t let her pull back- not that Jaime wanted to.

With plenty of time on their hands, they weren’t in any rush. Jaime kept the roll of her hips nice and slow and their kisses were punctuated by soft sighs and moans. Their coupling was more about love than lust.

Her hands roamed over Eliza’s taut dancer’s body, exploring all of the warm ebony skin she could reach. She and Eliza had been together for a while now, but she still found the girl as fascinating as that first time in the lap dance booth at the Cuarto de la Nina. She had told the girl she couldn’t imagine a day she wouldn’t find her attractive and it had been the truth.

Her touch turned both of them on even more, and their pace picked up to match their growing excitement. Jaime really ground against Eliza, forcing a moan from both of them. Eliza’s fingers dug into Jaime’s shoulders, but Jaime didn’t care. She knew the girl was feeling as good as she was, that the roll of her hips was sending pleasure coursing through Eliza’s body, too.

“God, you are going to make me come,” Eliza said, around a moan.

Jaime almost lost it then, the girl’s words bringing on her own orgasm too soon. She focused on her breathing, holding the climax at bay. Meeting the girl’s eyes, she saw Eliza was really close, and she hoped she could hold on long enough so they could come together.

When they could lose themselves at the same time, it was incredibly erotic and intimate. It didn’t always happen, but it happened with Eliza more often than not. Jaime had never experienced anything quite like it with any of her other girlfriends. She liked to think there had to be a reason behind it, the romantic in her taking as a sign that she and Eliza were meant for each other.

Eliza’s cries of enjoyment grew urgent, and Jaime kept grinding against her, even as her body started to lose its grace. She held it together just long enough to feel Eliza stiffen beneath her. Closing her eyes, she let loose the pleasure she had damned up, and it crashed through her like a flood. Even through her own ecstasy, Jaime could feel Eliza as her own climax shook her.

After a moment, she opened her eyes, saw the girl looking up at her. Jaime favored Eliza with a smile, which she returned with a dazed one of her own. Jaime leaned in and kissed her tenderly, said, “I love you.”

“I love you, too,” Eliza said, sounding like she meant it.

Jaime glanced at the alarm clock, then said, “There’s time for another.”

Laughing, Eliza said, “I’m the horny teenager, remember?”

“You don’t want to?” Jaime asked, meeting her eyes.

Eliza’s eyes flashed as she said, “I didn’t say that.”

—————————————

Temporary insanity.

That was the only explanation Jaime could think for why she had told her sister about Eliza. She couldn’t even blame it on the alcohol because she has been sober for more than three months. She had just been listing off all the good things in her life lately, and Eliza was at the top of that list. Her sister hadn’t even asked if she was dating anyone. It just sort of popped out of her mouth before she could think twice about it. She hadn’t even lied about Eliza’s age, had told her sister the truth about everything.

Standing at the airport waiting for Jenny to disembark, she was a nervous wreck. Her big sister had jumped the first plane out here after hearing Jaime was living with a thirteen-year-old girl. Jaime knew Jenny wasn’t just excited about meeting the love of her life. She figured the woman wanted to smack her upside the head and say, “What are you thinking?”

Jaime was so nervous because she had to figure out how to convince Jenny that being with Eliza wasn’t just another fuck up. It was going to be an uphill battle, Jaime knew. After all, she had a history of fucking up lately. Not least of all, the DUI that took her driver’s license away.

Taking a deep breath, she looked at the clock on the wall, again. Jenny’s flight should have arrived twenty minutes ago, and the added wait was rubbing her nerves raw. It gave her too much time to think about how many ways this conversation could go bad.

“She’ll see how amazing Eliza is and everything will work out,” Jaime said, trying to psych herself up for the ensuing conversation. It was the outcome she was praying for, that Jenny would somehow come to accept Eliza as part of her life. She was praying because it would take a miracle.

Jaime saw Jenny coming out of the tube, waved. Her sister saw her, came toward her. Jaime found herself being hugged, wondering if that was a bad sign or not.

“Hey Sis,” Jenny said, smiling at her.

“Jenny,” Jaime said, pulling back to look at her sister, “you’ve lost weight.”

“I have,” Jenny said, running her hands over her belly, “I’ve finally gotten around to losing the baby fat.”

Grinning, Jaime said, “It only took six years.”

“Asshole,” Jenny said, but she was smiling, “your nephew says hi, by the way.”

“How is he? And Bobby?” She asked.

“The family is good,” Jenny said, then gave Jaime a look, “well, the husband and kid, anyway.”

“I’m doing fine,” Jaime said, sourly.

“Uh huh,” Jenny said, looking around, “where is baggage claim?”

“You have luggage?” Jaime asked, surprised, “I thought this was a day trip?”

“You aren’t getting off that lucky,” Jenny said.

Shit, Jaime thought, with an inward groan. Out loud, she said, “It’s over that way.”

“Let’s get my bag, then you can buy me lunch,” Jenny said.

“Right,” Jaime said.

Catching her tone, Jenny laughed, “It’s good to see you, too.”

Smiling, Jaime said, “It really is nice to see you, even if you are just here to chew on my ass.”

“Not just to chew on your ass,” Jenny said.

“Let’s get your bag, and I’ll take you for some Mexican food,” Jaime said, shaking her head, “maybe I can distract you with some tacos.”

It was an awkward car ride to Vaca Bailarina, the sisters sitting in the back of a taxi. Jaime felt Jenny was judging her for losing her license and she really couldn’t blame her sister. It had been a low point in her life.

The taxi dropped them off at the front door, and they went inside with Jenny’s bag in tow. Their waitress looked at the luggage a moment, then just shrugged and told them about their drink specials. Jenny got a glass of Dos Equis and Jaime order a Coke.

When the waitress brought their drinks, Jenny looked at Jaime’s soft drink, then said, “You really are sober, huh?”

Jaime fished her AA token out of her pocket and showed Jenny, said, “Three months without a single drink.”

“Am I being an asshole for drinking in front of you?” Jenny asked, looking at her own beer.

“It’s okay,” Jaime said, smiling.

“So,” Jenny said, sitting back in her chair, “you’ve quit drinking. That’s a good thing.”

“I can get my license reinstated in five months,” Jaime said.

“Good,” Jenny said, nodding.

Jaime looked at her for a long moment, then laughed and shook her head, “Let’s just skip to the chase.”

“Eliza was her name, right?” Jenny asked, sipping her beer.

“Yes,” Jaime said, her heart racing. Here, finally, was the conversation she had been dreading.

“Do you have a picture?” Jenny asked.

Blinking in surprise, Jaime fished her cell phone out and pulled up a photo she had taken of Eliza. Her hand was shaking a bit as she handed the phone to her sister.

Jenny looked at the screen, then said, “She is beautiful.”

“Um, yes she is,” Jaime said, taking her phone back.

“How did you two meet?”

A little rattled by the unpredictable way the conversation was starting, Jaime said, “On the bus.”

It was a lie, but just a little one. Jaime didn’t want to bring up the Cuarto de la Nina, the underage strip club where she really met Eliza.

“So, if you hadn’t lost your license, you two never would have met,” Jenny said.

“Every cloud has a silver lining, I guess,” Jaime said.

Their waitress returned before her sister had a chance to reply to that comment. She took their orders, then left to send them back to the kitchen.

Jenny looked at her a long moment, then asked, “You think Eliza is your silver lining, huh?”

Taking a deep breath, Jaime said, “I love her.”

“Do you think being in love with someone her age is-” Jenny started to ask, but Jaime cut her off.

“Legal?”

“I haven’t even gotten to the legal ramifications of you two living together,” Jenny said, then sighed, “Little Sis, this is not a healthy relationship you are in.”

“I think you are wrong about that,” Jaime said, sitting up straighter, “Eliza is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and all the positive changes I’m making are because of her. She… She makes me want to be a better me.”

Jenny blinked at her a couple of times, caught off guard by Jaime’s conviction. She just stared at Jaime a long moment, then took a sip of her beer. Finally, she said, “I’m glad you are getting sober, and I’m proud of you for starting your own business. I’m even happy you found someone to make you happy, but she’s only thirteen. She’s just a kid.”

Laughing, Jaime said, “If you meet her, you’ll eat those words. She might be thirteen, but she is more mature than the both of us.”

“If I meet her,” Jenny said, chewing on the words. Meeting Jaime’s eyes, she said, “I assume she’ll be at your house tonight?”

“Well, yeah,” Jaime said, swallowing hard as she realized why her sister was asking.

“I guess I’ll see then,” Jenny said.

——————————-

Jaime excused herself to use the bathroom. She really didn’t need to go, but she wanted to call Eliza and let her know Jenny was staying with them. Leaning against the wall opposite the bathrooms, she pulled her cell phone out of her back pocket and dialed the number.

After two rings, Eliza picked up, said, “Hey you.”

“Hey,” Jaime said, feeling a lot better just hearing Eliza’s voice. The girl really was her rock.

“Did you pick up your sister?”

“Yeah. We are grabbing a bit of lunch, then we are coming back to our place,” Jaime said, then took a deep breath, “she’s staying the night. Maybe a couple of days. She brought luggage.”

“Oh,” Eliza said.

“Sorry I put you through this, Babe,” Jaime said.

“It’s okay. I’m looking forward to meeting your sister,” Eliza said.

“Really?” Jaime said, surprised. She had figured the girl was dreading this day as much as she was. For a second, she thought Eliza was just trying to make her feel better. The girl sounded sincere, though.

“I want to meet your family,” Eliza said.

Smiling, Jaime said, “Really?”

“Really.”

“Well, Jenny is all the family I have. Well, her and her husband and my nephew,” Jaime said.

“I guess I better win her over then,” Eliza said, the smile on her face plain in her voice, “can’t have a third of your family not like me.”

Laughing, Jaime said, “I’m not going to lie, Babe… The odds are against you.”

“That’s okay… I’m used to beating the odds,” Eliza said.

“I hope you do,” Jaime said, smiling.

“Tell your sister I can’t wait to meet her,” Eliza said, then added, “love you.”

“I love you, too. Bye,” Jaime said, hanging up the phone.

Taking a deep breath, she returned to her table. Their food had arrived, and her sister wasn’t waiting for her. Jenny looked up guiltily as Jaime sat down.

Swallowing her food, she said, “Sorry. They smelled too good to wait.”

Jaime laughed, “It’s okay. The Dancing Cow makes killer tacos.”

Raising her eyebrows, Jenny asked, “Is that what Vaca Bailarina means?”

“Yeah,” Jaime said, then grinned, “didn’t you see the cow in the tutu beside the door on the way in?”

“I guess I was distracted by the delicious smell coming through the door,” Jenny said, picking up her taco, “these are so good.”

Jaime tried her own food, and she had to agree. She used to come here all the time for lunch while she was working for Hamilton and Hamilton. It was one of her favorite restaurants and conveniently within walking distance of the firm.

“Does Eliza know I’m coming?” Jenny asked, taking a bite of her food.

“Yeah,” Jaime said, then added, “she’s looking forward to meeting you.”

Jenny seemed as surprised as Jaime had been to hear that. Eliza wanting to meet her threw her off a bit. Her reaction made Jaime smile.

“She said that, huh?” Jenny asked, sipping her beer.

“Yeah,” Jaime said, smiling, “she said she wants to win you over, can’t have a third of my family not like her.”

Snorting in surprise, Jenny laughed, “She didn’t say that.”

“She did,” Jaime said.

Her sister looked at her for a long moment, then asked, “So, this relationship… It’s real?”

“Do you mean ‘am I holding her hostage’?” Jaime asked, more amused than offended.

“I didn’t mean it like that,” Jenny said, sourly.

“It’s real,” Jaime assured her, meeting her eyes for emphasis.

Nodding, Jenny took a bite of her food. She seemed to need a moment to compose her thoughts. Jaime waited to see what her sister would say next. Seeing Jaime looking at her expectantly, Jenny swallowed and asked, “How did you ask her out?”

“I didn’t,” Jaime said, laughing when Jenny gave her a dubious look, “I didn’t.”

“She asked you out?” Jenny asked, meeting Jaime’s eyes.

“For pie,” Jaime said, not flinching away from eye contact because it was the truth, “well, pie and financial advice.”

“Wow,” Jenny said, laughing.

“Did you think I seduced her?” Jaime asked, amused.

“It makes more sense than her asking you out,” Jenny said with a shake of her head.

“I never said it made it sense,” Jaime said, smiling, “I’m in love with a thirteen-year-old girl. Believe me, I know how crazy that sounds, but Eliza is amazing.”

“And she feels the same way about you?” Jenny asked, sipping her beer.

“Yeah,” Jaime said, unable to contain her smile. Eliza really was in love with her.

“Do you think it’s just puppy love?”

“Eliza is a very intelligent, very mature girl,” Jaime said, then shrugged, “she loves me right now. If she ever outgrows me, it’ll hurt like hell, but I won’t try to stop her from leaving.”

“But you don’t think she will,” Jenny said.

“Relationships come and go,” Jaime said, uncomfortable with the question.

“That’s not an answer.”

“You are asking me to predict the future,” Jaime said, then sighed, “I… I don’t think we are just a fad- you know, Eliza being rebellious by sleeping with an older woman- or a phase she is going through. I think it will last.”

“What happens if she does want to leave?” Jenny asked.

“What do you mean?” Jaime asked, frowning.

“She is living with you now. Does she have anywhere else she could go?”

“Ah,” Jaime said, shaking her head, “you think she might be using me for room and board.”

“Crossed my mind,” Jenny said, looking uncomfortable for bringing it up, “I’m just trying to look out for my little sister.”

“Eliza had her own apartment when we started dating. She still has a room available to her if she needs it. As for money… She probably makes more than I do right now,” Jaime said, laughing when Jenny gave her dumbfounded look. She met her sister’s eyes, said, “Eliza’s story is… Well, it’s not my place to tell. You can ask her about it, if you want.”

“So you are dating a financially secure thirteen-year-old girl with a well-paying job and her own apartment?” Jenny said, shaking her head and laughing.

“Yeah,” Jaime said, grinning at her.

“That you met on the bus?” Jenny added.

“More or less,” Jaime said, then wished she had stuck with her lie.

“More or less?”

“It started on the bus,” Jaime said, then sighed, “it’s part of Eliza’s story. I’ll leave it up to her if she wants to tell you.”

Jenny looked at her for a long moment, then asked, “Will knowing change my opinion of the girl?”

“You’ll appreciate her strength more, knowing her story but it won’t make you like her any less,” Jaime said, then grinned, “you really are going to like her.”

“I have to admit I’m looking forward to meeting her,” Jenny said, laughing when Jaime gave her a curious look, “don’t get too excited. I still think this whole thing is a bad idea and that’s not going to change.”

Jaime said, “Got it.”

—————————————-

Eliza was at the door waiting for them as they got out of the cab at the house. Jaime’s heart was racing as they walked toward her. Here was the meeting she had been dreading on the cab ride from Vaca Bailarina. She just hoped her sister wouldn’t be too hard on Eliza.

As they stepped up to the open door, Jaime found herself being hugged. Some of her anxiety fled her with Eliza’s arms around her. The girl really was her rock, her warm blanket on a cold night, a balm for her raw nerves. All of that and more.

When Eliza released her, it was Jenny’s turn for a surprise hug. Her sister looked at Jaime as the girl embraced her. Smiling, Jaime could only shrug.

“It’s so nice to meet you. Jaime has told me so much about you,” Eliza said.

“Um, you too,” Jenny said.

Letting go of her, Eliza took Jenny’s bag and stepped aside to let them in the house. Jenny went, still a little thrown off by the hug. Jaime smile widened.

“I’ll put your bag in the guest room,” Eliza said, heading that way.

Watching her go, Jenny frowned. She looked at Jaime, asked, “Does she know why I’m here?”

Jaime laughed, “Yeah.”

“She’s got spunk,” Jenny said, shaking her head, “I’ll give her that.”

“You have no idea,” Jaime said.

She led her sister through the house to the kitchen, offered her a cup of coffee. She was just pouring one for herself when Eliza returned from the bedroom. Turning around, Jaime saw Eliza sitting at the table across from Jenny. Suddenly wishing for a splash of whiskey for her coffee, Jaime joined them.

“So, Eliza…” Jenny said, then seemed to run out of words.

Laughing, Eliza said, “So, Jenny.”

That line made Jenny smile and shake her head. Giving Eliza a weighing look, Jenny asked, “How does a young girl like you end up here?”

“Luck, I guess,” Eliza said, smiling at Jaime.

“Luck, huh?” Jenny parroted, amused.

“Your sister is amazing,” Eliza said, taking Jaime’s hand, “and I love her.”

Looking at their interlocked hands, Jenny said, “I’m sure there are some amazing girls closer to your age.”

“I don’t want a different girl,” Eliza said, then laughed, “I didn’t want a girlfriend, at all… but there is just something about Jaime that… I don’t know… I guess the heart knows what it wants.”

“The heart knows what it wants,” Jenny repeated, her voice a little funny.

Jaime squeezed Eliza’s hand, smiling at the girl. She already loved the girl but if she was going to say things like that… Her heart might never belong to her, again.

Looking back at Jenny, Jaime was surprised to see her sister’s eyes glistening. Jaime thought Jenny might cry. She remembered her sister was a bit of a romantic, cried at sappy love stories. Eliza’s words had tugged at the heartstrings of the romantic in her.

Jenny took a deep breath, then laughed sheepishly when she saw Jaime grinning at her. Shaking her head, she said, “You know me… I’m a sucker for a good romance.”

“A good romance?” Eliza asked, glancing at Jaime, “is that what we have?”

“No,” Jenny said, then sighed, “but you two do have a Romeo and Juliet thing going on… Forbidden love.”

“I don’t think I want to be Romeo and Juliet,” Eliza said, squeezing Jaime’s hand, “I want a happy ending.”

Smiling at her, Jaime said, “Me too.”

“You two need to stop that,” Jenny said, looking like she was ready to cry, again.

————————————–

Sitting at the kitchen table, Jaime tried to resist the urge to spy on Eliza and Jenny. They were sitting on the porch, talking. They had been out there for almost an hour, sitting side by side on the swing. Jaime couldn’t help but wonder what they were talking about.

Me, most likely, Jaime thought, which didn’t make it any easier to remain in her seat.

She thought Eliza was probably telling Jenny her story, too. Jaime wondered how Jenny would react to that sad tale of Eliza losing her father when she was so young and getting burdened with his debts to the Mexican mafia. Would she see the incredible depth of Eliza’s strength and respect it as Jaime has come to? The young woman Eliza had become never ceased to impress her. Jaime doubted she would have fared half as well if she had found herself in Eliza’s situation.

That strength was part of the reason Jaime loved her so much.

Jaime looked up as the door opened and the duo from the porch came inside. Eliza excused herself to practice her newest dance, leaving Jaime and Jenny alone in the kitchen. Jaime knew Eliza already had the dance down, so she thought the sisters had something to talk about. Watching Eliza leave the kitchen, Jaime wondered what that could be.

When she turned around she found Jenny sitting down at the table across from her. Her sister favored her with a curious look, one Jaime couldn’t quite read.

“Did you two have a nice talk?” Jaime asked.

Rubbing the back of her neck, Jenny asked. “There isn’t any booze in the house, is there?”

“No,” Jaime said, smiling, “I guess that is an answer in itself.”

“That girl…” Jenny said, shaking her head, “that is an impressive young woman.”

“Young woman? Not young girl?” Jaime asked.

Laughing, Jenny said, “Fine. You were right… That is the most mature thirteen-year-old I’ve ever met. Hell, she’s more mature than half the guys I’ve dated… My husband included.”

“She has had to be,” Jaime said, meeting Jenny’s eyes.

Her sister nodded, said, “She’s had a pretty messed up life… The fact she has turned out half as good as she has is a miracle.”

“Told you her story would only make you respect her more,” Jaime said.

“You were right,” Jenny admitted, then laughed and shook her head, “about the other part, too.”

“The other part?” Jaime parroted.

“She’s hard not to like,” Jenny said, rolling her eyes when Jaime grinned at her, “yeah, yeah. I like her. More than that, I see why you like her… She kind of reminds me of Lana.”

Jaime nodded, having thought the same thing before. Lana, her first love, and Eliza were polar opposites in appearance but kindred spirits. Jaime was a little surprised, though, that Jenny had picked up on it. Lana had been a long time ago.

“She really does love you,” Jenny said, meeting Jaime’s eyes.

“I know,” Jaime said, smiling.

—————————————-

“My taxi’s outside.”

Jaime handed her sister her bag, then hugged her. She smiled as Jenny squeezed her back. When her sister said she was staying the night, Jaime had cringed, but now she didn’t want her to go. The visit had gone better than she had expected and she wished she had a little more time with her big sister.

Not letting go, Jenny whispered in Jaime’s ear, “I never thought I’d say this, but I’m rooting for you two.”

“Really?” Jaime asked, pulling back to look at her sister.

Smiling sheepishly, Jenny shrugged, “You know me… I’m a sucker for a good romance. I don’t know how it works, but you and Eliza seem to make each other happy.”

“We do,” Jaime said, her vision blurring as tears filled her eyes. She took a deep breath before they could start falling.

“Just be careful, okay?” Jenny said, hugging Jaime, again.

“We will,” Jaime said.

Finally letting go of Jaime, Jenny turned to Eliza and opened her arms. Smiling, Eliza hugged her, too. The embrace did Jaime in, the tears spilled down her cheek watching her sister and her girlfriend. A hug was just a hug, but Jaime knew there was more to this one than a simple show of affection. It was a display of acceptance of Jaime and Eliza as a couple. Jaime swallowed hard to clear the lump in her throat, torn up by the sentiment.

Jenny let go of Eliza, smiled at her and said, “Take care of her for me.”

Slipping her arm around Jaime’s waist, Eliza said, “I will.”

To Jaime, she said, “She is a special young woman. Be good to her.”

“Always,” Jaime said, smiling at Eliza.

Laughing and shaking her head, Jenny headed for the door and said, “I’ll leave you two alone. Bye.”

Jaime said, “Call me when your flight gets in.”

“I will,” Jenny said, opening the door.

Going to the door, Jaime watched as her sister got in the cab. She waved as the car pulled away from the curb. When they disappeared around the corner, Jaime stepped back into the house, closing the door behind her. She put her back to the door, sighing with relief that the visit was over.

“You okay?” Eliza asked.

“Better than okay,” Jaime said, pushing away from the door and going to her. Wrapping the girl up in her arms, Jaime kissed her and said, “I’m just glad that’s over. It went way better than I could have expected, but I’m still drained.”

Smiling, Eliza said, “Well, I got a third of your family to like me.”

“Yes, you did,” Jaime said, kissing her, again, “I still don’t believe it, but you did.”

“We should celebrate,” Eliza said.

“What did you have in mind?” Jaime asked.

“How about dinner?” Eliza suggested.

“Huh,” Jaime said, considering it, “where did you want to eat?”

“I already have reservations,” Eliza said.

“You do?” Jaime asked, surprised, “when did you make reservations?”

“A couple of days ago,” Eliza said.

“A couple of days ago?” Jaime said, frowning, “you mean… before Jenny arrived?”

“Yeah,” Eliza said, smiling.

Laughing, Jaime said, “You were a lot more confident about my sister’s visit than I was.”

Eliza kissed her deeply, said, “I just knew she wasn’t going to change my mind about you.”

“Your heart knows what it wants, huh,” Jaime said, smiling warmly at her.

“It does,” Eliza said, kissing her, “right now, it wants to take a bath with you.”

“Do we have time?” Jaime

“My reservations are at seven,” Eliza said, craning her neck to look at the clock, “Tank said he’d be here about six-forty-ish, so we have time.”

“Tank is picking us up?” Jaime asked, amused.

“Yeah,” Eliza said, taking Jaime’s hand, “beats taking a cab.”

Following Eliza down the hall to the bathroom, Jaime said, “We need to buy him something nice… Annie, too.”

“I already did,” Eliza said.

“Are you going to tell them it’s from the both of us?” Jaime asked.

Laughing, Eliza said, “Yeah.”

“Good,” Jaime said, going to the tub and getting the water started.

As the water level started to rise, she added some scented oil. She sighed happily as the air in the bathroom became redolent with the lovely scent of vanilla. Turning around, she saw Eliza lighting some candles and had to smile. The girl was on the same wavelength as she was about wanting a nice, romantic soak. Before Eliza could turn out the lights, Jaime got them some towels out of the linen closet, sitting them on the closed lid of the toilet. The lights went out and the bathroom took on a more intimate glow. Jaime started some soft music playing on a little radio they kept in the bathroom just for occasions like this.

Jaime started undressing, looking up when she felt eyes on her. She smiled when she found Eliza watching. When Eliza looked at her like that, Jaime couldn’t breathe. Her heart racing, she finished getting undressed. Naked, she straightened up, leaning against the sink. A shiver of excitement worked through her as Eliza’s eyes roamed over her.

“You are so beautiful,” Eliza said.

Jaime went to Eliza, slipped into her arms and kissed her deeply. Pulling back, Jaime gave her a playful smile, said, “You are just saying that.”

“You know I mean it,” Eliza said, kissing Jaime, again.

“Well,” Jaime said, looking down at Eliza, “you are beautiful, too. Even if you are wearing too much clothing.”

Grinning, Eliza put her arms up, and Jaime pulled the girl’s shirt up and off. Tossing it aside, she reached behind to unfasten Eliza’s bra. It joined the shirt on the floor, and Jaime ran her hands up the girl’s flanks to cup her small, proud breasts. Eliza’s nipples stiffened in response to Jaime’s touch, and the girl moaned. Jaime leaned in and kissed her as she let her hands slide down Eliza’s taut stomach. As she teased Eliza’s tongue into her mouth, Jaime popped the button on Eliza’s jeans. Pushing them down around her thighs, Jaime let her hand find the slight swell of Eliza’s girlhood, massaging it through the thin panties she wore. Eliza moaned into Jaime’s kiss, her hips pushing against Jaime’s hand eagerly. Breaking the kiss, Jaime sank to her knees in front of Eliza. She smiled up at the girl as she wrestled the snug jeans the rest of the way down, then off. Running her hands up the outsides of Eliza’s thighs, she hooked her fingers in the elastic waistband of her underwear. She pulled them down, helping the girl step out of them.

Still on her knees, she looked up at the girl. Eliza had an amazing body, lean and tight from years of dancing. Long, lovely legs; a flat, sexy stomach; small, up-swept breasts; a pert, round backside; her skin so soft and the same shade of brown as coffee with just a dash of cream. Jaime felt the little spark of attraction inside become a full-blown fire of desire.

Standing up, she took Eliza’s hand, led her to the tub. Jaime sighed as she settled into the hot water. The stress of Jenny’s visit melted away, and she felt herself instantly starting to relax. Leaning back against the tub, she sighed again, thought, God, I needed this.

She smiled as Eliza sat on her lap sideways, resting her head on Jaime’s shoulder. The tub was large enough to accommodate them comfortably. Jaime wrapped her arms around the girl, pulling her even closer. Maybe even more than the scented bath, having the girl close put her at ease, the last of the tension leaving her body.

“Thank you,” Jaime said.

Lifting her head off of Jaime’s shoulder, Eliza asked, “For what?”

“For being so amazing,” Jaime said, smiling at her.

“Amazing how?” Eliza asked, meeting Jaime’s eyes.

“In every way that counts,” Jaime said, kissing her, “just for being you.”

“You are weird,” Eliza said, sounding pleased by the compliment, anyway.

“I just had to tell you,” Jaime said.

“Okay,” Eliza said, kissing her. With a warm smile, she said, “You are pretty amazing, too.”

Jaime kissed her, then. One kiss became two, then three. Even with the desire she had felt for the girl still burning inside of her, the kisses were more tender than erotic, more about love than lust. Well, mostly about love. With the naked girl in her lap, it was hard to keep lust entirely at bay. The fourth kiss had some heat behind it and the fifth even more.

Without a word, Jaime moved forward some and Eliza turned in her lap so that she sat facing her. Their lips met again, this time fueled more by lust than love. Tenderness gave way to a deepening intimacy, to that need that had been smoldering just under the surface.

“God, I’ve wanted this so bad,” Eliza said, her hands roaming over Jaime’s back.

“It’s only been a day,” Jaime said, amused.

“I know,” Eliza said, kissing her, “but you didn’t want to do it while your sister was here.”

“It seemed like a bad idea,” Jaime said.

“Oh, I understood,” Eliza said, smiling at her, “but it’s like… like when it starts raining, and you suddenly want to get outside and do something. Do you know what I mean?”

“I do,” Jaime said, kissing her, “you wanted it more because you couldn’t have it.”

“Exactly,” Eliza said, her eyes flashing at Jaime, “and you wearing those jeans weren’t helping.”

“You like me in those jeans, huh?” Jaime asked, smiling.

“I like the thought of getting you out of them better,” Eliza said, her hand coming up to cup Jaime’s breast.

“If you just wanted me out of my jeans, we could have gone to the bedroom instead of taking a bath,” Jaime said, running her hands over Eliza’s thighs.

“I knew you needed this to help you relax after Jenny’s visit,” Eliza said, then with a playful smile, “besides, we can have just as much fun here as there.”

“Last time we did that, we made a mess,” Jaime said, even though she was more than okay with making another.

Reaching behind her, Eliza pulled the stopper out of the drain, said, “We just need to let a little water out, so it doesn’t slosh over the sides, again.”

With the water level lowered by half, Eliza put the stopper back in its place. Turning back to Jaime, she rolled her hips a couple of times. Satisfied that the trick had worked, she leaned in and kissed Jaime heatedly, wrapping her arms around Jaime’s neck.

Pulling back, Eliza said, “Problem solved.”

“You are so smart,” Jaime said, smiling as she kissed the girl, again. The kiss deepened in a hurry and Jaime thought they were done talking. She let her hands slide up the outsides of Eliza’s thighs and onto her backside. The girl seemed to get the hint, grinding her body against Jaime’s. The slow roll of her hips was a delicious torture, and Jaime’s fingers tightened on her buttocks.

Eliza buried her face in the crook of Jaime’s neck, her breath hot on Jaime’s skin as she moaned and sighed. Those soft sounds of excitement only turned Jaime on more, and she really wanted to girl to go faster. No sooner did the thought pop into her head did Eliza’s pace start to increase. As always, they had a sixth sense about what the other wanted. Or maybe, they just needed the same things. Either way, the easy way they made love never failed to stir certain loving feelings in Jaime.

She really is the one for me, Jaime thought.

Like she had somehow picked up on her thoughts, Eliza looked up and smiled warmly at her. Jaime’s heart skipped a beat, thinking maybe the girl really had read her mind. Or maybe, the girl had her own loving feelings. Jaime kind of hoped it was the latter.

Eliza kissed her tenderly, just once, then put her face back in Jaime’s neck. Smiling, Jaime decided to take that as a yes. She hugged the girl close.

The soft music from the radio, the flickering light of the candles, the vanilla scented oil carried on the steam, the warm water lapping at her thighs every time Eliza moved in the hollow of her legs… All pleasant sensations, but largely unnoticed. Jaime lost herself in Eliza, the girl capturing all of her attention. The girl’s warm body wriggling in her lap and the pleasure the roll of her hips brought, her warm breath on Jaime’s neck and her growing cries of excitement filling Jaime’s ears, her smooth ebony skin under Jaime’s fingertips as her hands roamed over Eliza… The girl commanded her senses, and there wasn’t room for anything else.

Eliza’s face pressed harder into Jaime’s neck, and her fingers tightened on Jaime’s shoulder. Her heart beating faster, Jaime realized the girl was going to come. The girl’s excited little cries brought Jaime’s own orgasm to life. The girl stiffened in her lap, crying out as she climaxed. Somehow, Eliza kept her hips moving, if a little less than gracefully. It was enough for Jaime, and she gasped as her body exploded with pleasure.

Eliza finally lifted her face from Jaime’s neck, and Jaime kissed her deeply. There was more heat behind the kiss than Jaime had expected and her heart started racing, again as she realized they weren’t done just yet. Eliza eased off Jaime’s lap, favoring Jaime with a sexy smile as she crossed one leg over Jaime’s and slid the other underneath Jaime’s other leg. Picking up on what the girl had in mind, Jaime scooted forward until their bodies came together, again. With their bodies locked tightly together, they rolled their hips in opposite directions. Neither one of them had recovered from their last orgasm and were still very sensitive. The lovely friction had both of them moaning, and Jaime grabbed Eliza’s knee from more leverage, wanting more pressure on her bud. Eliza put her hand on Jaime’s hip, wanting the same thing.

They found their rhythm, one completely different than the song on the radio. Jaime had to smile, thinking they marched and made love to the beat of their own drum. There wasn’t a misstep between them, their bodies moving in perfect synchrony. They didn’t even miss a step when a second orgasm gripped and shook them, their cries of ecstasy coming on the same breath.

Jaime met Eliza’s eyes and laughed when she saw the girl looked as dazed as she felt. She gave the girl a tender kiss before leaning back against the tub to catch her breath. She was still trying to get herself back together when she felt Eliza looking at her. Looking up, she saw Eliza smiling.

“What’s that smile about?” Jaime asked.

Instead of answering, Eliza leaned out of the tub and grabbed the leg of her jeans. Pulling them closer, she fished her phone out of her pocket. She dialed someone, then put the phone to her ear. Seeing Jaime looking at her expectantly, Eliza said, “I’m calling Tank, telling him we won’t need a ride after all.”

“Oh?” Jaime asked, grinning.

“I think I’d rather celebrate here, instead,” Eliza said, then when the other end of the line was picked up, “Hey Tank. Change of plans. We are staying in tonight… Thanks, anyway… Okay. Goodbye.”

Eliza put her phone on the floor next to the tub, then grinned at Jaime, said, “I could hear him blushing through the phone.”

Laughing, Jaime said, “I take it he knows why we canceled.”

“I’m sure he has a good idea,” Eliza said, leaning in for a kiss. It threatened to get away from them, again, and Eliza finally had to put a hand on Jaime’s shoulder. Smiling, she husked, “If we aren’t going out, we better eat something.”

With a playful grin, Jaime said, “I love when you talk dirty.”

Snorting in surprise, Eliza laughed, “I meant dinner.”

“Oh,” Jaime said.

“I’m starving,” Eliza said, kissing her deeply, “we can talk about that other thing afterwards, though.”

“I think there are some leftovers from dinner last night,” Jaime said.

Grinning, Eliza asked, “Did you see the look on Jenny’s face when she saw what you had made?”

“I didn’t cook much before you started coming over,” Jaime said, laughing, “I think she was surprised how domesticated I’ve become. I’m a regular Suzy Homemaker, now.”

“I think she was surprised a lot during this trip,” Eliza said.

“You are probably right,” Jaime agreed, kissing her, “that hug right before she left… You know what that was, right?”

Smiling, Eliza said, “Yeah.”

Taking Eliza’s hand, Jaime said, “You want to know something crazy?”

“What’s that?” Eliza asked.

“You are the first girlfriend I’ve had that Jenny has liked… Well, other than Lana,” Jaime said, smiling affectionately at the girl, “that hug… You know, I thought it would take a miracle to get my sister to accept us as a couple. But you… She saw how amazing you are, too.”

A little embarrassed, Eliza said, “You need to stop saying I’m amazing. You are giving me a big head.”

Laughing, Jaime kissed her deeply, said, “I’m just saying I’m madly in love with you and I’m yours as long as you want me.”

“I’m madly in love with you, too,” Eliza said, slipping back into Jaime’s arms. She seemed content to stay there.

I had to re-read Part Three before i read this one. It was good as a stand alone but I still want to know what the future holds for poor little Sarah.

  2. Fur says:

It’s perfect for what it is and I truly love it. The play between the sisters and between Eliza and Jenny is perfect for meet the family. I swear Eliza could win over a dead person the way you’ve written her.

We still need to know what happens to little Sarah and I was really hoping for a different story line here to deal with that… Look forward to the next story no matter which it is

  3. Andrew Mason says:

I wished for White Stockings, I got White Stockings. I do have to echo Bob, though. This was a very sweet chapter, but what about Sarah? Not so much as a mention, despite the setup in the last chapter of Sarah, Eliza, and Jaime as a family unit. I will grant that it would have been even harder to get Jenny on board with Sarah in the house, but still…

  4. Lex Cortland says:

I don’t mind that Sarah didn’t come up. As a writer, I know how a plot thread sometimes has to be put on the back burner to focus on what’s happening at the moment. You’ve always played the long game on these stories, Ebo, so I trust you’ll resolve the Sarah issue.
